Now the star player of every Borg deck can be a star player in every other deck - this Non-Aligned version of Seven of Nine will work with any other personnel (supposing someone other than the Voyager crew had liberated her from the Collective, perhaps?). She also bears a Federation icon, not only acknowledging her strong ties with the Voyager crew, but also allowing her to report for free using Home Away From Home.
Her skill set incorporates every ability she had as a drone and more. With two personnel types, ENGINEER and SCIENCE, she'll be busting her way through a number of dilemmas, helping to overcome Phased Matter, Subspace Fracture, and more. Her double dose of Computer Skill beats Ancient Computer and Ferengi Ingenuity, and allows you to download her to your hand with Quark's Isolinear Rods. Physics and Exobiology are in demand for escaping still more difficult dilemmas. And with 2 Stellar Cartography, she's outstanding for Study Badlands - just pair her with one of the many "super" Navigators (like any one of the McNeill trio: Tom Paris, Thomas Paris and Nick Locarno). Her attributes are also impressive, particularly her high STRENGTH of 9, should you go looking for a fight or find one looking for you.
Then there's the icing on the cake: as a "liberated" Borg, Seven retains all the subcommand icons she possessed while part of the Collective. Though she is no longer a drone, she is still Borg, and that's good enough for cards like Crisis, Denevan Neural Parasites, No Loose Ends, and Nanoprobe Resuscitation, among others.
Combos:
- Seven of Nine + Assist Cooperative: Seven has all the skills you need to pull off this mission (with a bonus, too!).
- Seven of Nine + Nanoprobe Resuscitation: Res-Q made better - you can retrieve your personnel and play them "on the fly", all for free!
