    Assimilation is not just for Talon Drones anymore. What used to be the province of Borg Servos and personnel battles can now be done in ship to ship combat. When your Borg ship hits with this Tactic (and in the case of Cubes, how often does it not?) you assimilate one of your opponent's crew members into your hive. Eliminate Starship suddenly becomes as valid a way of gathering new Borg personnel as Assimilate Counterpart, and arguably a much easier one too.

    Combo:

    • Borg Cutting Beam + Multiplexor Drone: Armadas beware; this drone lets a Borg player take one personnel from each of the opponent's ships in the battle. Just reporting the Multiplexor Drone and not-too-casually pointing out that you have a battle side deck may be enough to keep your opponent from ever trying to attack your Borg ships.
