The quintessential dual-personnel card, the paired Bynars give you a wealth of valuable skills. Two ENGINEER classifications plus Computer Skill x2 go a long way toward helping you past those nasty dilemmas like Isolinear Puzzle, Birth of "Junior" and ""Pup"", as well as filling requirements for a host of missions. 10's special skill is a special download of any Bynars card - currently, only Bynars Weapon Enhancement, but that's enough to give a WEAPONS edge to all your ships. But 01's single special skill is the most important one: the non-Borg's answer to the Complink Drone, nullifying all Computer Crash cards in play. Unfortunately not seedable (like the Complink Drone), 10 and 01 will nevertheless pose a threat to your opponent's Computer Crash strategy, because once you get them into play all of his Crash-devoted seed slots become useless. Since Computer Crash can thwart any attempt to pull them from your Tent, use other card-drawing or card-recycling methods to get them from your draw deck.
Combo:
- 10 and 01 + Process Ore + Guest Quarters: With a V.I.P. and an ENGINEER or SECURITY in the right places, you can burn through your deck quickly until you find your little crash-preventers. Thereafter you can download to your heart's content, safe from computer glitches.
