    Explore Typhon Expanse has long been a mainstay of the popular Romulan space deck based on Dr. Telek R'Morimage's Astrophysics x2 and Stellar Cartography. Now its Mission II form provides the same skill redundancy plus a Romulan outpost that doesn't require a seed slot. What more could you ask for? How about the ability to rebuild that outpost if it is destroyed without having to retrieve it from your discard pile? All you need is an ENGINEER at the location, and one foregone card-play later your outpost is back.

    The saved seed slot and easy rebuilding come at a price, of course - a relatively small one of 5 points off the mission point box. You'll find the 5 points easily recouped, and your trouble more than worth it for the extra dilemma or artifact you'll get to seed.

    Combos:

    • Explore Typhon Expanse II + Assign Mission Specialistsimage + Tarusimage: Download Tarus as one of the mission specialists at the built-in outpost, then let him help solve the mission to make up the missing 5 points.
    • Explore Typhon Expanse II + Dr. Telek R'Morimage: If your trigger-happy opponent blows away your outpost, just report R'Mor directly aboard any of your ships in play and rebuild the outpost in place of your card play.
