One of two new card types introduced in The Trouble With Tribbles, Trouble cards are designed to be used with your Tribble cards to cause even more trouble (of course) than plain, simple tribbles. The amount of Trouble... On the Bridge experienced by your opponent depends on just how many tribbles are underfoot.

100 tribbles (in the form of a 100 Tribbles card or ten 10 Tribbles cards) are enough to start plenty of trouble for anyone relying on matching commanders to beef up their ships. Sitting on a tribble is so disconcerting to the captain that he's lacking in his usual inspiration to the crew, and Captain's Logimage and Defiant Dedication Plaqueimage enhancements go out the airlock.

The real trouble begins when those 100 tribbles breed into 1,000 tribbles. Not only is the captain as distracted as ever, but so are the rest of the crew, so only 10 of them, at most, can concentrate on their mission. And if they end up on a planet, they'll prove just as much trouble for the Away Team trying to attempt the mission there.

    Combo:

    • Trouble... On the Bridge + 1,000 Tribbles:When the whole crew loses their first-listed skills, you might have to compensate by adding more personnel in order to pass dilemmas and solve missions. But choose carefully, because you can only use 10 of them at a time - everyone else is busy petting (or kicking) the tribbles.
