Tired of your opponent drawing and playing tons of cards, but don't want to chance getting hit with The Line Must Be Drawn Here if you play Kevin Uxbridge to nullify his Kivas Fajo or Red Alert! If you can't beat'em, join'em, with a seeded Mirror Image. He plays a Kivas, you get to draw three cards also. He plays Red Alert, you get to report multiple cards too. He plays The Traveler: Transcendence, you get to draw an extra card at the end of your turn, too. He plays Masaka Transformations, and both of you shuffle and replace your hands.
Because it's a hidden agenda, you don't have to reveal it and let its countdown begin until you're ready to make use of it. So if you want to use his Red Alert but you don't have enough cards in hand yet to make it worthwhile, wait till you've drawn a few more. But if he plays a Kivas, it's not too late to reveal Mirror Image in response - you immediately get to "mirror" that Kivas, and any others he plays in the next four turns.
Combos:
- Mirror Image + opponent's Masaka Transformations: He'll be sorry he played Masaka on you to bury your Devidian Door, when he has to lose his entire hand as well. Or if he played it on himself and your hand isn't looking so good, take advantage of his card play to "remodulate" your entire hand.
- Mirror Image + The Traveler: Transcendence + Thought Fire: While you can't reveal Mirror Image once your opponent has begun his mission attempt, you can always reveal it immediately after he has moved his ship to the mission or beamed his Away Team down. That Thought Fire will be sure to affect him, if he isn't intimidated into waiting till he has Empathy in his crew.
