    Plays on your unattempted mission. Nullified if you begin an attempt with <3 (or > 7) personnel, or if you play (or have played) Scan or Full Planet Scan. If you solve, score points; opponent loses points (discard event).

    This event is nullified if you play or have played Scan or Full Planet Scan on any mission, or if you begin an attempt of the mission on which it is played with <3 or >7 personnel. Attempts of other missions have no effect on this event.

    Do you shiver at the thought of not knowing what dilemmas are under a mission? Does the thought of risking your precious personnel to the unknown give you panic attacks? Sleep with a Full Planet Scanimage under your pillow in case you feel the need in the middle of the night? Want to wean yourself off Scanimage dependency? Well, Dr. Decipher has heard your plea and the 62nd Rule is one answer to your prayers. Attempt your unscanned mission with 3-7 people (moderation in all things now!), and if you solve the mission you get 10 points and your opponent loses the same. You're feeling better about popping those Scans back into your binder already, aren't you?

    The really nice thing about the 62nd Rule is that it carries no pre-conditions. You don't need Greed, Acquisition, or a Nagus. Now you can be truly rewarded for blindly going where no man has boldly gone before - no, wait, that's not quite right is it?

    Combos:

    • 62nd Rule of Acquisition + Optical Implants: Even if you can't scan, your implants will let you take a peek at what lies ahead and you can still get your (un)just reward.
    • 62nd Rule of Acquisition + Science Labimage + Senior Staff Meetingimage: Park your Nor at a space mission, look at the bottom seed and get rid of it if you don't like it.
