An obscure "Behind the Scenes" note on the Miles O’Brien (BoG) card in the Fajo Collection said, "By the way, look for a future card to take advantage of his 7-7-7 attributes." Almost three years later, that card makes its appearance in the Mirror, Mirror expansion - and as Royale Casino fans suspected, it's a Slots game.
Playing the slot machines is easy. Drop your nickel in (encounter the dilemma) and pull the lever (show a personnel card from hand). Ching! Ching! Two attributes match, you win 5 points. Ching! Ching! Ching! All three attributes match, you win the jackpot - 10 points. But if no attributes match (or you have no personnel to show) - oops, you lose your nickel (5 points).
Almost everyone can play; there are literally dozens of personnel, of every affiliation, who have two matching attributes. (Unfortunately for the Borg, despite every drone having two matching attributes, the cash that pops out of the slot machine is irrelevant, so no points for them.) But only a few can hit the jackpot. Besides Miles, there are currently only 10 other personnel worth the big money (not counting Seven of Nine). The big winners are the Bajorans, with three, while several affiliations have none.
