    Rule hint for this card

    This card has an clarification:

Once this dilemma is placed on the mission and the choice is made either to continue or to “stop” (if possible), the altered MEDICAL requirements for further dilemmas encountered at that location affect both players. The DNA Clues dilemma is not encountered again, so no future Away Team or crew can alter those requirements. The dilemma remains on the mission even after it is solved. The MEDICAL requirements may be reduced to zero.

    DNA Clues

This Card-Review article was written by Kathy McCracken and was published first on "Decipher's Website (decipher.com)" at Jul 11th, 1998.

This dilemma makes Exobiology as vital to every Away Team as the SCIENCE-MEDICAL-SECURITY triad has always been. If you have it, you would be well-advised to "stop" to investigate. If you foolishly press on, or don't have Exobiology to give you that choice, you can expect a followup dilemma or two that will require an astonishing amount of MEDICAL.

    Combos:

    • DNA Clues + Hippocratic Oathimage + Tarellian Plague Shipimage: You thought you could breeze by any MEDICAL dilemma with Beverly Crusherimage, Katherine Pulaskiimage and Julian Bashirimage aboard. Now you either stall for a turn, or send all three to help the Jem'Hadar-and then everyone else dies when there's no doctor in the house.
    • DNA Clues + any non-MEDICAL dilemma: Will you gamble on not "stopping," without knowing what comes next?
