Two of the most important cards in countering bonus-point-heavy and unbalanced-mission strategies are Intermix Ratio and The Big Picture. Unfortunately, neither is seedable, making it difficult to ensure that you'll have it when it you need it. Quark’s Isolinear Rods make these counters the next best thing to seedable: seed the incident instead, and use it to download the one you need for your opponent's particular strategy. And for the icing on the cake, it allows you to ignore your opponent's attempt to Computer Crash the download.
Combos:
- Quark's Isolinear Rods + Q’s Tent + any vital card: No matter how many Revolving Doors and Wrong Doors your opponent has, for one turn he won't be able to keep you out of your Tent.
- Quark's Isolinear Rods + any Quark: As long as you can keep Quark alive, you've got complete protection from Computer Crashes.
